Cherry Juice: Can I Just Drink That?

There are three main problems we have with cherries in liquid form. The number 1 issue is the sugar content. Cherry juice is extremely high in sugar and sugar converts into uric acid which can keep levels elevated. The second issue is the antioxidant value is lacking in liquid cherry juice concentrate because the cherry skin is removed before the juice is produced. The third issue is the antioxidants that make it through to the juice degrade quickly due to it’s liquid format.

For these reasons we use a dried cherry concentrate in Gouch!, which allows for stability, a high antioxidant value, and zero sugar making this product the more effective choice.
