High Uric Acid: Is it Genetics?
A simple online search will suggest that the likelihood of high uric acid levels being genetic is 65% or higher, but there’s a problem with the research. This information is skewed high and is not conclusive. More recent studies suggest that the genetic connection to uric acid levels is closer to 6%.
The more important issue is the removal of self-power when you’ve been told that your uric acid levels are high due to your genetics. Basically, individuals are being told they have no control over their levels and that it was just “the cards they were dealt.” However, when you understand that the likelihood of high uric acid levels being connected to genetics are low, that means there is something you can do to improve your health. We know you can adjust your diet and take nourishing herbs (like the ones found in Gouch!) to make a difference. When you do this, your body has a significant better ability to regulate uric acid levels.
